Replacement Chips for HP CF289 Series Product Update Notification

According to the monitoring of chip suppliers,HP has released a new firmware, "20240321" on June 3, 2024, via WiFi for printers using CF289 series replacement cartridges. Following this upgrade, some printers may display an error message stating“Non-HP Chip Detected.”

【Solution 】

1. The current HP CF289 series products are not affected by this firmware upgrade.

2. Older chips in the HP W2110, W2210, W2310, and W2410 series may be impacted. Contact our

sales manager for more information.

3.Advise end-users to disable HP Automatic Updates and avoid manual firmware updates from HP's website to minimize potential issues.

4. lf printers do not recognize cartridges after the upgrade, contact our sales manager promptly.

5. For detailed information regarding OEM upgrades, please consult our sales manager.
