Replacement Chips for HP CF289 Series Product Update Notification

According to the monitoring of chip suppliers, HP released firmware version 20231206 through its official websitespecifically for printers installed with CF289 series replacement chips.

Following this upgrade.certain printers may display an error message stating “Non-HP Chip Detected”.

【Solution 】

1. Subsequent shipments of our products will be changed to upgraded chip.

2. Some older chips in our W2110, W2210, W2310, and W2410 series may be impacted by the upgrade. For more details, please contact our sales manager. 

3. Please advise end-users not to manually upgrade firmware from the official website and disable the HP Automatic Update to minimize the upgrade risk.

4. If customers have found the involved products cannot be recognized by their applicable printers.Please contact our sales manager immediately.
