HP CF289 series products chip upgrade notification

According to the monitoring of chip suppliers, HP released new firmware 002 2339A on November 28, 2023,specifically for printers using CF289 series cartridges, available on its official website.

After theupgrade, affected printers may display an error message "Non-HP Chip Detected."

【Solution 】

1. Subsequent shipments of our products will be changed to upgraded chip.

2. Please sell normally if chip was manufactured after 21st-August 2023.

3.Some older versions of chips for our CF 258/414 series may be impacted.

4. Please advise end-users not to manually upgrade firmware from the official website and disable the HP Automatic Update to minimize the upgrade risk.

5. If customers have found the involved products cannot be recognized by their applicable printers.Please contact our sales manager immediately.
